We are delighted to announce we will be holding a series of workshops as part of the Luminate Festival 2019.
Several months ago, Luminate and Tha Seo Math Dhuibh – Good for You invited the artists involved in the work of Tha Seo Math Dhuibh – Good for You to send in a proposal for workshops with older people. The successful artists were Kate Mcmorrine, a visual artist from Dunvegan, and Helen Scott-Danter, a movement and drama practitioner from Edinbane.
The work they plan to do involves six workshops. Participants will be invited to bring in an object that is dear to them. They will have the opportunity to explore stories and art inspired by the object. No previous experience of art is necessary, just a desire to take part and have fun!
Sessions are free of charge and will be held at Aros Community Theatre at 1.45-3.30pm on:
Tuesday 23rd April
Tuesday 30th April
Friday 3rd May
Friday 10th May
Friday 17th May
Friday 24th May
Friday 31st May
The final session on 31st May will be a sharing event, where an exhibition created by the artists and participants will be shared.
Booking essential as places are limited. Phone 01478613649 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place or for further information.
